I used the the 2010 version of Hurrievac and it was an awesome tool. I don't recall the version I was running in 2012 when Hurricane Sandy came ashore in New Jersey on October 29. What I can tell you is the Hurrivac system worked flawlessly, identifying impact areas, and providing highly accurate evacuation times, along with other vital meteorological data; which I compared with Hazuz Multi-Hazard hurricane modeling software tools, running both simultaneously.
